Gov Fintiri Declares Three Days of Mourning for Former Gongola Governor Bamanga Tukur

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Governor of Gongola State and elder statesman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.

Governor Fintiri described the late statesman as a distinguished Nigerian whose contributions to the development of Adamawa State and the nation would remain indelible.

In honour of Tukur’s service and legacy, the Governor has declared three days of mourning across Adamawa State, during which all government flags will be flown at half-mast as a mark of respect.

Fintiri extended his condolences to the family, associates and the people of Adamawa State, urging them to draw strength from the late elder statesman’s years of service and contributions to public life.

He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him eternal rest and admit him into Aljannah Firdaus.

The declaration underscores the significance of Bamanga Tukur’s legacy in the political and administrative history of the state and the nation.
