Gov Fintiri Hosts Turkish Ambassador, Strengthens Education and Humanitarian Ties

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has received the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Mehmet Poroy, at the Government House in Yola, reaffirming the strong partnership between Adamawa State and Turkey.

The Governor noted that the collaboration continues to yield positive results, particularly in the area of education, with over 100 Adamawa students currently studying in Turkey and performing excellently in their academic pursuits.

Governor Fintiri emphasized the state government’s commitment to expanding these opportunities, highlighting plans to deepen cooperation in education, skills acquisition, and humanitarian support.

He stressed that strengthening such international partnerships remains key to building a brighter and more secure future for the people of Adamawa State.
