Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has signed into law the “Bill to Create the Seal of Adamawa and Regulate Its Use, 2025.”
The law formally establishes the Seal as the official emblem of government authority and unity, while setting strict rules for its use. Unauthorized application including for political, commercial, or misleading purposes attracts penalties ranging from ₦250,000 and two years imprisonment for individuals, to ₦1,000,000 fines for corporate bodies.

The Seal embodies Adamawa’s identity with emblems representing courage, education, agriculture, riverine communities, and all 21 LGAs.
Governor Fintiri said the Seal is “a statement of our collective identity and aspirations” and must be treated with reverence.
