Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completing the asphalting of the Kiri-Shelleng Road and constructing an ultra-modern market at the Shelleng Local Government headquarters.
Governor Fintiri gave the assurance when he received a delegation from the Shelleng Emirate, led by the Amna Shelleng, Dr. Abdullahi Isa Dasong II, at the Government House in Yola.
The Governor said the road project remains a priority of his administration, stressing that its completion will improve connectivity, ease the movement of people and goods, and create greater economic opportunities for communities along the corridor.
He also announced plans to establish an ultra-modern market at the Shelleng LGA headquarters, describing the project as an important step toward strengthening local commerce, supporting businesses and stimulating economic activities in the area.
Fintiri reiterated that his administration would continue to pursue inclusive development across Adamawa State, assuring the people of Shelleng that they would not be left behind in the government’s development agenda.
“Our promise remains unchanged: no one will be left behind, and nothing will be left untouched,” the Governor affirmed.
