Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has expressed deep appreciation following his recognition at the annual cultural festival in Michika, where he was honoured with the traditional title “Lakeka Michika.”
The Governor described the event as a gathering of illustrious sons and daughters of the area, noting that their presence reflected the enduring strength and unity of the community’s cultural heritage.




He extended heartfelt gratitude to His Royal Majesty for the conferment of the title, describing it as a profound symbol of responsibility and trust.
Governor Fintiri emphasized that culture remains a vital foundation of identity, stressing that leadership must build on that legacy to promote unity, ensure security, and deliver meaningful development to the people.
The recognition, he said, serves as a renewed call to service and commitment to the progress and wellbeing of all citizens.
