The Adamawa State Government wishes to inform the general public, particularly motorists and commuters along the Pella–Maiha Road, that due to recent heavy rainfall, a section of the road near Nzedinyi town has been severely damaged.
As a precautionary measure, road users are strongly advised to use alternative routes until the affected portion is fully restored. This directive is to safeguard lives and prevent avoidable accidents or disruptions.
His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has directed immediate remedial works to restore safe passage and ensure the road is reopened as quickly as possible.
The Government appreciates the understanding and cooperation of the public as efforts are underway to urgently address the situation.
