The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum, on Thursday attended the inaugural meeting of the 2025 PDP National Convention Organizing Committee.
The session, held at the PDP Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja, was chaired by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, who is serving as Chairman of the Convention Committee.
The committee’s work officially kicks off preparations for the 2025 Elective National Convention of the party, scheduled to hold on November 15–16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Governor Fintiri, widely described as one of the PDP’s key assets from Northern Nigeria, is expected to play a central role in ensuring a smooth and successful convention.
