Gov. Fintiri Increases Corps Members’ Allowance to ₦30,000, Appears in Full NYSC Khaki at Orientation Flag-Off

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has announced a ₦10,000 increase in the monthly allowance of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members serving in Adamawa State raising it from ₦20,000 to ₦30,000.

He made the declaration on Thursday while officially flagging off the 2025 Batch B Stream I orientation exercise at the Damare NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp.

“We are committed to enhancing the welfare of corps members and ensuring their stay in Adamawa is meaningful and impactful,” the governor said.

He also revealed that plans are underway to construct a brand-new NYSC camp in the state, with professionals already engaged in designing and executing the project.

The gesture and announcements were well-received by corps members and NYSC officials, who described the moment as unprecedented and morale-boosting.

Fintiri’s administration continues to prioritize youth empowerment, national integration, and institutional development.
