The Adamawa State Government delegation, led by Deputy Governor Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta on behalf of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, attended the Annual National Convention of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), reinforcing the strong relationship between the state and the church.
During the visit, the delegation condoled the LCCN family over the tragic loss of members who died in a motor accident while traveling to the convention. The Deputy Governor described the incident as heartbreaking and extended the government’s sympathies to the affected families and the entire church community.

Beyond the condolences, Prof. Farauta appreciated the LCCN for its consistent support toward maintaining peace and stability in Adamawa State. She acknowledged the church’s moral leadership and its role in promoting unity across communities, noting that faith-based institutions remain critical partners in sustaining harmony.
The engagement concluded with a prayer session led by Bishop Clement Dogo of Todi Diocese, focusing on comfort for the bereaved families and continued peace and progress in Adamawa State.
