The Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on Tuesday received aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) seeking seats in the State House of Assembly, as they collected their Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) clearance forms in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held in Yola, marked a significant step in the party’s build-up to the upcoming polls, with the aspirants formally advancing in the electoral process.



Addressing the hopefuls, Governor Fintiri congratulated them on reaching what he described as a critical milestone in their political journey, noting that the process requires not only ambition but also responsibility and commitment to democratic values.
He urged the aspirants to conduct their campaigns and political engagements with discipline, unity, and a deep respect for the rule of law, emphasizing the need to uphold the integrity of the electoral process.
