The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has handed over 23 brand new SUVs to judicial officers across the state as part of his administration’s commitment to strengthening the justice system.
The official handover took place on Wednesday, July 31, and is part of ongoing institutional reforms aimed at reinforcing the independence, dignity, and operational efficiency of the judiciary.

“Our administration remains focused on building institutions that work,” the governor stated. “A judiciary that delivers justice without fear or favour is essential for any society that seeks genuine progress.”
The vehicles were distributed to judges and senior legal officials to ease mobility and improve service delivery across the courts. The gesture reflects the administration’s broader agenda of upholding the rule of law, promoting fairness, and ensuring public trust in the justice system.
