Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Wednesday received members of the Youth and Women Wings of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), who staged a massive 10,000-person solidarity march to the Government House in Yola.
The crowd, drawn from various denominations and communities across Adamawa State, came in a show of support for the Fintiri administration’s ongoing efforts in governance, development, and inclusion.

Addressing the delegation, Governor Fintiri expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, calling it a powerful endorsement of the government’s direction.
“Their show of support inspires us to do more,” the governor said. “We remain committed to inclusive governance that leaves no one behind—building a prosperous Adamawa for today and for generations yet unborn.”
The peaceful rally also featured prayers, songs, and speeches reaffirming the commitment of the Christian community to unity, peace, and progressive leadership in the state.
