Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Friday, May 30, 2025, graced the Bwatiye 2025 International Cultural Festival and Development Foundation Fundraising held in Yola.
The event, which brought together dignitaries, traditional leaders, and cultural enthusiasts, celebrated the vibrant heritage of the Bwatiye people, one of Adamawa’s most historic and culturally rich ethnic groups.
Governor Fintiri praised the organizers for their commitment to preserving tradition while promoting social and economic development through the Foundation’s initiatives.




“The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of the Bwatiye people and reinforced our collective commitment to unity, peace, and development in Adamawa State,” the Governor said.
The festival featured traditional music, dance, attire, and a strong message of cultural pride and inclusion. The fundraising segment also emphasized investment in community-based development, education, and youth empowerment across Bwatiye communities.
Governor Fintiri reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to cultural integration and peaceful coexistence, noting that development thrives best in an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect.
