Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has formally received the States Competitiveness and Investment Readiness Award (SCIRA) presented by BusinessDay Newspapers, in recognition of Adamawa State’s outstanding performance in key development sectors.
The award was presented to the Governor by the Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Barrister Leader Leneke, on behalf of the organizers.
Adamawa State was honoured for its “Outstanding Performance in Agriculture, Infrastructure, and Urban Development,” a recognition that underscores the state government’s sustained efforts in transforming critical sectors and improving the overall economic landscape.




Speaking after receiving the award, Governor Fintiri described the recognition as a testament to the hard work, commitment, and strategic investments undertaken by his administration to reposition Adamawa for growth and development.
He reaffirmed his government’s resolve to sustain the momentum, emphasizing that more initiatives will be rolled out to expand economic opportunities and improve the standard of living for residents across the state.
