Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the development of the Nigerian Law School’s Yola Campus, with particular attention to infrastructure, electricity and water supply.
Governor Fintiri stated this on Tuesday, August 11, when he received the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Dr. Olugbemisola Sola Odusote, and her delegation at the Government House in Yola.
The meeting focused on the development of the Yola Campus and practical measures to address some of its infrastructure needs, including reliable power and water supply.
The governor assured the delegation that the Adamawa State Government would continue to support the institution and work towards creating a more conducive environment for students and staff.
Fintiri said the state’s commitment to the campus was part of his administration’s broader investment in education and human capital development, particularly institutions that contribute to producing professionals for the country.
He stressed the importance of ensuring that the Yola Campus has the facilities and basic amenities required to support effective teaching, learning and administration.
Dr. Odusote, who became the first female Director-General of the Nigerian Law School after her appointment took effect in January 2026, is leading the institution’s administration and strategic direction across its campuses.
The governor’s engagement with the Nigerian Law School leadership is expected to strengthen collaboration between the state government and the institution as efforts continue to improve the facilities and overall learning environment at the Yola Campus.
