Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has sealed a strategic partnership with Origin Group Nigeria, an agro-food systems company, to strengthen agriculture and generate jobs for the state’s growing youth population.
The Governor met with the company’s Chairman, Prince J. Samuel, at the Government House, Yola, on Tuesday, where he assured that his administration would continue to create an enabling environment that attracts and retains investors.

Fintiri pledged to provide Origin Group with the necessary incentives to operate in a safe and supportive environment, encouraging the company to establish permanent operations in Adamawa.
Prince J. Samuel expressed delight at the opportunity to invest in the state, describing Adamawa as one of the safest in Nigeria. He commended Fintiri’s prioritization of agriculture and commitment to modernizing the sector.
He disclosed that Origin Group’s intervention will focus on four areas: the cultivation of 25,000 hectares of land, partnership with the state on input support funding, development of tomato farming, and strengthening agricultural value chains with high-growth potential.
Prince Samuel further noted that with the synergy between the state government and the private sector, Adamawa will soon witness massive agricultural investments capable of spurring economic growth and empowering thousands of youths.
