Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening ties with workers in the state, describing them as the true custodians of development.
The Governor gave the assurance on Tuesday when he received the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) led by Comrade Emmanuel Fashe at the Government House, Yola.
Fintiri stated that his administration remains dedicated to advancing policies that will improve the welfare of workers, particularly in the areas of wages, pensions, and youth employment.
He commended the NLC for its role in fostering industrial harmony and assured that his government would continue to prioritize initiatives that guarantee dignity for workers while driving sustainable growth in the state.
