The Federal Government of Nigeria has named Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State among six state governors to be honoured at the 2025 Nigeria GovTech Public Service Awards.
The award ceremony, scheduled to hold from October 9–10, 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, will recognise outstanding leadership and contributions to governance through technology-driven reforms.
Other governors selected for the national honour include Dr. Alex Otti of Abia State, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, and Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State.
Governor Fintiri, widely celebrated as a reform-driven leader in Adamawa, will be honoured for his administration’s efforts in digital governance, civil service reforms, and innovations in public service delivery.
