Governor Addresses Key Challenges Facing Pharmacists in Adamawa State
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri today received the leadership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), giving firm assurance that Adamawa State will fully support the Society as preparations intensify for the 2026 National Conference to be hosted in the state.




During the engagement, the Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the health sector and ensuring that pharmacists across the state operate in an environment that enables efficiency, safety, and professional growth.
He acknowledged the critical role pharmacists play in healthcare delivery and pledged to address the key operational challenges raised by the PSN leadership, including infrastructure gaps, regulatory concerns, and manpower constraints.
The visiting delegation expressed appreciation for the Governor’s openness and the state’s readiness to collaborate as host of the 2026 National Conference, describing Adamawa as a promising and strategic location for the national gathering.
Governor Fintiri assured them that the state will work closely with the Society to deliver a hitch-free, world-class conference that reflects Adamawa’s reputation for hospitality and capacity.
