Fintiri Approves Five-Year Service Extension for Adamawa Teachers

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved an extension of five years after retirement for selected teachers in Adamawa State.

According to a circular from the Adamawa State Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB) dated August 5, 2025, the affected officers will be re-engaged and posted to various schools as classroom teachers in line with prior agreements that warranted their extension.

The Board directed its zonal offices to implement the posting of the re-engaged teachers accordingly.

This policy is expected to retain experienced educators in the system, ensuring continuity in teaching and improving the quality of education across the state.
