The Adamawa State House of Assembly, under the leadership of Speaker Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, has partnered with the Elite Scholars Institute to strengthen the professional capacity of its aides and staff.
As part of the initiative, a two-day intensive capacity-building workshop themed “Building the Capacity of Legislative Aides for Effective Service Delivery” was held on September 17–18, 2025, at Hotel 2020, Wuye, Abuja.
The Lead Consultant, Dr. Victor Kwambuge, alongside experts including Engr. Samson Simon and Dr. Peter David Oaya, delivered high-impact lectures during the program. Key sessions addressed the role of legislative aides in driving sustainable development, artificial intelligence and modern-day legislative practices, advanced work ethics, conflict management, and transformational leadership.
Participants expressed deep appreciation to the House leadership for creating the training platform, pledging to apply the knowledge gained to enhance service delivery and support their principals in fulfilling democratic mandates to their constituents.
