A major boost has arrived for the Adamawa Digital Academy as a full renewable energy system has been delivered to the institution following the approval of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. The installation marks a decisive step toward ensuring uninterrupted power supply for the state’s flagship digital training centre.
The system comprising high-capacity solar panels, inverters, lithium batteries, and an energy-management unit is designed to guarantee steady electricity for ICT training, software development labs, digital classrooms, and administrative operations.

The governor’s approval underscores his continuous drive to modernize education, enhance youth capacity, and position Adamawa as a rising technological hub in the North-East. Stakeholders believe the renewable system will drastically improve learning outcomes, reduce operational costs, and make the academy a more reliable centre for tech training.
Full commissioning is anticipated once installation and testing are completed.
