The management of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Ibrahim Umar, has paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, commending his administration’s sustained support and seeking deeper collaboration.
Prof. Umar appreciated the Governor’s attendance and financial backing of the university’s recent convocation, describing it as historic. He also acknowledged the approval of a five-kilometre internal road network and the provision of four buses, noting that the interventions have significantly boosted the institution’s growth.




In response, Governor Fintiri reaffirmed his commitment to the university, stressing that government support is strategic and aimed at ensuring the people of Adamawa State benefit from the institution.
He urged the university management to sustain excellence and inclusiveness, assuring them of continued partnership and fulfillment of pledges made.
