Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Saturday hosted leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Mustapha Salihu, alongside members of the State Executive Council, to a Ramadan iftar at the Government House in Yola.
The annual breaking of fast, held during the holy month of Ramadan, formed part of activities marking the sacred season and underscored efforts to promote unity and understanding among political leaders and stakeholders across party lines in Adamawa State.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Fintiri described the shared iftar as a powerful symbol of brotherhood and mutual respect. He noted that Ramadan embodies values of patience, sacrifice, compassion, and forgiveness principles he said remain essential for effective leadership and responsible governance.

The Governor further stressed that coming together in the spirit of the season strengthens dialogue, deepens cooperation, and reinforces a collective commitment to peace, stability, and sustainable development in Adamawa State.
The event concluded with special prayers for continued peace, progress, and prosperity for the state and the nation.
