Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has charged the newly inaugurated Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to hit the ground running by promoting unity, grassroots mobilization, and strong internal cohesion within the party.
Governor Fintiri gave the charge when he received the new PDP leadership, led by the State Chairman, Alhaji Hamza Bello Madagali, at the Government House, Yola, on Thursday.
The Governor reminded the officials of the need to consolidate the gains achieved in Adamawa under the PDP-led administration, emphasizing that the next task is to work collectively to reposition the party for national leadership.
He stated, “We rescued Adamawa together; now let’s put our heads together to rescue Nigeria. This is just the beginning.”
Fintiri described the new executives as a blend of experience and youthful energy, expressing confidence in their capacity to strengthen the party’s base across the 21 local government areas. He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the PDP in its mission to restore good governance and national unity.
The visit marked the first official engagement between the Governor and the new state party leadership since their emergence, signaling a renewed drive toward political reorganization ahead of future elections.
