Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining peace, unity, and inclusive development across the state.
The Governor made this known on Monday afternoon while addressing journalists at the Yola International Airport shortly after returning from Abuja a trip that coincided with his 58th birthday celebration.
Governor Fintiri expressed profound gratitude to the people of Adamawa State for their unwavering support, prayers, and confidence in his leadership. He described the occasion as another opportunity to renew his dedication to the service of the people and the progress of the state.




When asked about his birthday wish for the people of Adamawa, the Governor said his greatest desire is for a peaceful, united, and prosperous state.
“I wish us peace, unity, and prosperity. And I want to use this special day in my life to thank the Almighty Mantiala for bringing me through another cycle of a year. I will use this new year to have more impact on the people of Adamawa State, particularly on the trust they have given me. And like I promised, I will ensure to serve them better every day until the end of my tenure,” Fintiri stated.
The Governor was warmly received at the airport by members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly led by Speaker Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, as well as top security officials led by the Commissioner of Police, Morris Dankwambo, who joined in celebrating the Governor’s birthday.
Fintiri appreciated the citizens for their continued faith in his administration, assuring that his government will remain focused on fostering development, strengthening good governance, and promoting inclusive leadership.
He reiterated that his administration’s priority remains the peace and prosperity of Adamawa State, promising to consolidate ongoing projects and deliver greater dividends of democracy to all residents.
