The Adamawa State Government has commenced the distribution of Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards to beneficiaries of the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Program.

The initiative forms part of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) designed to support adolescent girls in transition classes, with the aim of keeping them in school and ensuring their smooth progression through the education system.
The program is being implemented under the leadership of the Honourable Commissioner for Education and Chairman of the AGILE Steering Committee, Umar Garba Pella, who emphasized that the intervention is a strategic step towards tackling school dropouts and empowering young girls with access to quality education.
