Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri today facilitated a peace dialogue between the Bachama and Chobo communities in Lamurde Local Government Area, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to peaceful coexistence across Adamawa State.
The meeting brought together leaders and representatives from both sides, providing a platform for open conversation, honest reflection, and renewed understanding. Gov Fintiri emphasized that choosing dialogue over hostility is a shared responsibility, noting that communities thrive when people sit together, speak sincerely, and listen without prejudice.
He stated that every step taken toward peace moves the state closer to the harmony future generations deserve. The Governor urged both communities to uphold the resolutions reached and continue working jointly to prevent misunderstandings from escalating into conflict.
