Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has been named Daily Asset Governor of the Year on Infrastructure at the newspaper’s 9th Annual Awards and Lecture held on February 5, 2026, in Abuja.
The award ceremony took place at the Conference Hall of Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja, and recognises Governor Fintiri’s consistent delivery of people-focused infrastructure projects across Adamawa State.
Under his administration, the state has witnessed significant improvements in road networks, public buildings, healthcare facilities, and education infrastructure, strengthening service delivery and accelerating development.
Governor Fintiri was represented at the event by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, who received the award on his behalf.
The honour underscores the growing national recognition of the Fintiri administration’s infrastructure agenda and its impact on the socio-economic transformation of Adamawa State.
