Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has approved the payment of a 13th month basic salary to civil servants in the state as the year draws to a close.
Gov Fintiri said the gesture is a deliberate expression of appreciation to the workforce for their dedication, commitment, and service to the state throughout the year, particularly in sustaining public service delivery under challenging economic conditions.

The Governor noted that the additional salary is intended to ease the financial pressure on civil servants and their families during the festive season, enabling them to better prepare and celebrate with dignity.
He reaffirmed that his administration remains committed to the welfare of workers, describing civil servants as the backbone of effective governance and partners in the ongoing development of Adamawa State.
Gov Fintiri assured that the state government will continue to prioritize workers’ welfare while maintaining fiscal responsibility and investing in projects that improve the lives of all citizens.
