Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has completed the construction of the 14-kilometre Sukur Road in Madagali Local Government Area, a major infrastructure boost for the northern zone of the state.
The newly completed road is equipped with 12-cell and 6-cell culverts, designed to ensure durability and smooth passage, especially during the rainy season.

With this project, visitors and residents now have improved access to the Sukur Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thereby enhancing tourism potential and economic activity in the area.
Governor Fintiri reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering critical infrastructure across Adamawa, stressing that rural communities will not be left behind in the development drive.
