Governor Fintiri urges strengthening of grassroots governance during Sallah homage from LGA Chairmen

Today, I had the honor of receiving chairmen from all 21 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of our state, led by the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Engr. Suleiman Gangkuba, who paid me a Sallah homage.

The visit provided an opportunity for us to reflect on the progress made in grassroots governance and to chart a course for further development. As we approach the two-year milestone of this administration, I emphasized the importance of strengthening governance at the local level to ensure effective service delivery and the well-being of our people.

I urged the chairmen to redouble their efforts in addressing the needs of their communities, fostering inclusive leadership, and implementing policies that directly impact the lives of our citizens. Our administration remains committed to working closely with local government authorities to drive sustainable development, enhance security, and improve infrastructure across all LGAs.

Together, we will continue to build a governance structure that is responsive, accountable, and dedicated to the growth and prosperity of our state.
