Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was honored today with an Award of Excellence in Health Service Delivery by the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Adamawa State Chapter. The award was presented during a visit led by Dr. Yunusa Dahiru, Chairman of the NMA Adamawa State Chapter, accompanied by senior professionals from the association.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Fintiri expressed his gratitude for the recognition, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to improving healthcare in the state. “We remain committed to improving healthcare and have directed the absorption of medical consultants for enhanced quality service delivery,” he said.
The award highlights the strides made under Governor Fintiri’s leadership to boost healthcare infrastructure and services across Adamawa. The Governor’s proactive approach, including policies aimed at ensuring that medical professionals are absorbed into the state’s health system, has been a key factor in improving service delivery for the people.
