As Adamawa State joins the global Muslim community in commemorating Maulud, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has called on the Muslim faithful to reflect on the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing the principles of peace, kindness, and brotherhood.
In his message to the people of Adamawa, Governor Fintiri urged the public to use the occasion to rededicate themselves to building a harmonious and prosperous state.
“As we commemorate Maulud, I urge all Muslim faithful to reflect on the Prophet’s teachings of peace, kindness, and brotherhood,” Governor Fintiri said. “Let us rededicate ourselves to building a harmonious and prosperous Adamawa, shunning all kinds of mischief that may disrupt public peace and unity.”
The Governor expressed his hope that the Maulud season would bring blessings to both Adamawa and the nation as a whole, calling for a renewed commitment to fostering unity and public tranquility.
