Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, was joined by his colleague, Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State, at the combined 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremony of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola.
During the event, Governor Fintiri announced plans by the Adamawa State Government to construct a five-kilometer internal road network within the university campus. The project is aimed at improving mobility, enhancing safety, and providing a more conducive learning environment for students, academic staff, and researchers.
The Governor reaffirmed that education remains a public trust and a critical pillar for sustainable development, stressing that his administration will continue to invest in institutions where knowledge is nurtured, ideas are developed, and the future of Adamawa State is shaped.
