Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri today visited the construction site of the Yola Town Market to evaluate the progress made on the state-of-the-art facility. The modern market, set to feature 956 shops, warehouses, fire-fighting equipment, and robust security measures, promises to drive commerce and create new opportunities for youth and local entrepreneurs.
Governor Fintiri expressed his satisfaction with the substantial progress achieved within a short period. “I am pleased with the remarkable development underway. This market will not only enhance trade but also offer a secure and supportive environment for our traders and business owners,” he noted.
He further reiterated his administration’s commitment to preserving the traders’ shops and supporting local businesses. The Yola Town Market project underscores the governor’s commitment to delivering essential infrastructure that contributes to economic growth and supports the aspirations of Adamawa’s residents.
