Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is set to host no fewer than 2,000 people for a special Ramadan Iftar at the Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola.
The large-scale gathering is described as the first of its kind in Adamawa State’s history, marking a significant moment in the observance of the holy month. The event is expected to draw participants from across the state, including religious leaders, political stakeholders, youth groups, and community representatives.

The Iftar forms part of broader efforts by Governor Fintiri to deepen unity and promote peaceful coexistence, using the Ramadan period as a platform to strengthen social bonds and reinforce shared values.
The public Iftar is aimed at tightening the connection between government and citizens while encouraging reflection, compassion, and togetherness—principles that define the holy month.
Security and logistics arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth and orderly event.
