The Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has approved a reduction in official working hours for public servants in the state during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to a press release issued by the Head of Civil Service, Pharm. Isa Ardo Shehu, the adjustment takes immediate effect for the fasting period.

Under the new arrangement, civil servants will now work from 8:00am to 2:00pm, instead of the normal 8:00am to 4:00pm schedule.
The decision, approved by Governor Fintiri, is aimed at easing the burden on Muslim faithful observing the Ramadan fast, while ensuring that government activities continue smoothly across ministries, departments, and agencies.
The Governor also extended his goodwill to Muslims across Adamawa State, wishing them a peaceful and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.
