In a collaborative effort aimed at combating poverty and fostering local entrepreneurship, the Adamawa State Government, in partnership with the Creative African Empowerment Initiative (CAEI), has successfully provided training to over 800 individuals in Kojoli Community, Jada Local Government Area (LGA) of Adamawa State.
This eight-week program, led by CAEI’s Pitiko School of Entrepreneurship and supported by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development, Poverty Alleviation, and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA), has equipped participants with valuable skills across various fields, including Fashion Design, Customology, Catering Service, Driving, Makeup, Farming/Animal Husbandry, among others.
The initiative aligns closely with Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s 8 Point Agenda, demonstrating his commitment to eradicating poverty throughout the state and nurturing a flourishing entrepreneurial landscape.
The people of Adamawa State express their enduring gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his steadfast support. According to Malam Abdulkadir Sani, representing the Coordinator of PAWECA, “This program provides a fantastic opportunity to support both established and aspiring entrepreneurs in the communities.”
The successful implementation of this program underscores the significance of collaboration between government agencies and CAEI in empowering individuals and propelling economic growth.
While expressing appreciation to the NGO, Malam Abdulkadir Sani encourages the beneficiaries to leverage the knowledge they have gained effectively. Furthermore, CEO of CAEI, Mr. Solomon Nuhu, extends warm appreciation to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Honourable Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for fostering an enabling environment where young entrepreneurs can strive for the betterment of their families and communities.
